Canadian Mark Townsend has been on an 11-year journey cycling across the U.S. spreading the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.
The Uvalde Hesperian met up with Townsend at Walmart. Townsend said he plans on attending a local church this Sunday where he hopes he can find shelter from the forecasted cold weather. When asked where he is headed to next, he said he plans on cycling up Highway 83 North to South Dakota.
Townsend said that there is a hole in everyone’s heart that only God can fill.
He carries a cache of small Bibles he hands out.
