The main hallway at the SSgt. Willie de Leon Civic Center was filled with people checking out the cookies, goodies and Thanksgiving themed children’s games and crafts at Tuesday night’s Cookies with Cops events.

Uvalde Police Department along with U.S. Border Patrol officers were on hand to help hand out the cookies and candy and games. Uvalde Memorial Hospital had a ring toss game at their table and El Progreso Memorial Library Director Tammie Sinclair was all smiles at her table facilitating a thanksgiving themed game.

The Resiliency Center along with various businesses and organizations joined the Uvalde Police Department with their family friendly event.
