School may be out for the summer, law enfocement and first responders are using the time when students are out of school to prepare for potential active shooter threats.
Uvalde EMS, Uvalde County Sheriff’s and Uvalde CISD Police Department officers and other emergency responders are assembled at the Knippa School for the second of a two day active shooter response training.
The Knippa Volunteer Fire Department said the following on Facebook “Knippa residents there is a ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE TRAINING happening today and tomorrow at the Knippa Independent School District please disregard and if you hear any gun fire or sirens and emergency crews”
