The Uvalde City Council will be meeting this Tuesday, June 25th on the 2nd floor of City Hall at 6 PM to discuss the agenda: See agenda below.

Among the items on the agenda, two new officers, John Guerra and Samantha Diaz Municipal will be sworn in by Court Judge Richard Gonzales, who was requested to administer the oath of office.

The following ordinances changes will also be considered for approval by the City Council made necessary by new laws enacted by the Texas Legislature: a) amending chapter 5.12 of the Code of Ordinances, regarding peddlers, itinerant vendors, canvassers and solicitors. b) repealing chapter 6.08 of the Code of Ordinances, regarding animal businesses. c) amending chapter 15.76 of the Code of Ordinances, regarding the property maintenance code. d) repealing chapter 9.20 of the Code of Ordinances, regarding offenses by or against minors.
