Just before Noon today, Uvalde police. Uvalde County Sheriff’s Officers and other first responders swarmed the Uvalde Walmart and evacuated Walmart employees and employees who work at businesses located in the retail strip center east of the big box store. Some employees gathered at Tex Best Convenience store across Highway 90.

Walmart personnel immediately notified the Uvalde Police Department.”
The press release continued stating that a systematic search of the building was made.
“During the reentry process for store employees, a separate male subject made a follow-up threat to employees, which was secondary to the original incident and not related to the initial bomb threat. Employees again notified law enforcement. Officers from the Uvalde Police Department and assisting agencies responded immediately, located the individual, and took him into custody. The subject was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat,” the statement said.
According to sources, South Ham Lane was closed off for a portion of the time.
