H-E-B Pharmacy located at the Uvalde H-E-B store on the corner of East Main Street and Wood Street, recently changed to its weekday hours of operation resulting in a closing time one hour earlier than previously, For some pharmacy customers who did not get the word and are used to picking up their prescriptions at 8PM, the change could result in arriving at the pharmacy too late to pick up a needed prescription.
The Uvalde Hesperian reached out to H-E-B’s Director of Public Affairs for a statement on the schedule change
Linda Tovar, Director of Public Affairs H-E-B |Border Region said, ” The pharmacy hours at the Uvalde H‑E‑B location recently changed from 8 a.m.–8 p.m. to 8 a.m.–7 p.m., effective Monday, March 2. Customers were notified in advance through in‑store signage posted over the past month. This change applies only to the Uvalde pharmacy and aligns its hours with other H‑E‑B pharmacies in the Far Southwest region, including Carrizo Springs, Pearsall, and Hondo, which also close at 7 p.m. No other nearby stores experienced changes to their hours of operation.”
