The Uvalde County Elections Board met this morning at 10 AM at the Uvalde County Courthouse.
During the meeting, Uvalde County Elections Administrator Melissa Jones tendered her resignation letter effective September 30th according to Uvalde County Judge William “Bill” Mitchell.
Jones had been away for several weeks prior to the meeting on maternity leave.
