Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Hosts a Community Day @ the Devil’s Sinkhole State Natural Area, October 25
TPWD will hold a day-long Community Day Saturday, October 25 at the Devil’s Sinkhole State Natural Area. This is a free event, and all are encouraged to participate in one or all of the scheduled activities. Visitors are free to come and go throughout the day.
As the day progresses, there will be bird walks–9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., plant walks–11 A.M. and 2 P.M. , a cave talk–12:30 P.M., a “Color Out Cancer Fun Run” beginning at 5:30 P.M., bat watching–7 P.M., and a star party–8:30 P.M.
The gate will be open by 9:00 A.M. and the last event will conclude sometime before 10:00 P.M.
