SWTX honors academic excellence with fall 2025 president’s and dean’s lists

(Uvalde, Texas) Southwest Texas College President Hector Gonzales and Michael Bailey, dean of liberal arts, and Armando Mondragon, dean of applied sciences, recognize 469 students for their academic achievements during the fall 2025 semester.

 Full-time students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours are eligible for these academic honors. The president’s list includes full-time students who earned a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester, and the dean’s list includes students who earned at least a 3.6 GPA.

 This semester, 244 students earned a place on the president’s list. Another 225 students were named to the dean’s list.

 “We are immensely proud of these outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to their academic pursuits,” Gonzales said. “Their achievements on the president’s list and dean’s list reflect their passion for learning and their pursuit of excellence.”
