Although the effort of hosting Lucas Denney is being organized by the Uvalde County Republican Women (UCRW) the goal is to share Mr. Denny’s story with everyone regardless of political affiliation.
We’re all grateful to be Americans and we all want the same thing: Peace, safety and the preservation of our American freedom. Lucas Denney, an Army veteran and former Military Police officer from Mansfield, Texas, was arrested nearly a year after the events of January 6th at the U.S. Capitol.
Upon his arrest, he was immediately placed in solitary confinement and held for 89 days without any formal criminal charges filed against him.

During his service in Iraq, he sustained long-term injuries and was later honored as a decorated soldier. A devout Christian and father of two, Lucas endured additional hardships during his confinement, as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) revoked his disability payments, further compounding his struggles.Come and hear his compelling story and why he believes God was with him in one of the most secure prison in the world.

This event is open to all at no charge!
