Endeavors’ third annual school supply drive to fill 500 school supply kits for South Texas children
San Antonio, Texas (June 27, 2025) – This summer, Endeavors invites the San Antonio community to help students in need start the school year strong. From June 23 to July 18, the local nonprofit will host the third annual Back-to-School Supply Drive presented by Whataburger. Benefiting elementary students in San Antonio and Uvalde, the initiative embodies the community’s dedication to expanding access to education.
With school supply costs averaging $875 per child, according to the National Retail Federation, many families are forced to choose between basic needs and classroom essentials. Since 2023, Endeavors has assisted families facing the daunting cost of education, by working alongside local businesses.
Requested items include elementary school essentials such as crayons, markers, colored pencils, folders, spiral and composition notebooks, glue sticks, safety scissors, erasers, and highlighters. All donated supplies will be packed and distributed to area students in grades pre-K through fifth grade. Endeavors is grateful to Haverty’s Furniture for joining in as a Drop Off Partner, providing two additional locations for donors to drop off school supply cheer.
