  We are grateful to announce an update regarding the Community Warming Center for Uvalde & Uvalde County.
  Location: The Pecan Room, inside the Sgt. Willie De Leon Civic Center
  Opening: Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 12:00 Noon
  The center will remain open until weather conditions improve.
  This warming center is available for anyone needing a safe and warm place, whether to stop in and warm up or to stay overnight. Accommodations are available to everyone.
  In coordination with the City of Uvalde and Uvalde County Emergency Management, along with Casa El Shaddai, Hill Country Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry, and Peace Ministries, our mission remains simple:
No one in our community should face the cold alone.
