Broadway 830 marks its grand reopening with Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting

The Broadway 830 Restaurant has re-opened today after several months of remodeling after an overnight electrical fire forced the the Uvalde based restaurant known for its artisan pizza and craft beer to close.

While the doors opened at 10:30am today, Broadway 830 kicked off its Grand Re-opening with a ribbon cutting by the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce.

According to Skyway Entertainment Marketing Director Victoria Dühring who spoke in an interview with Uvalde Radio Tuesday, January 10th stated there was a lot of damage behind the bar but the entire restaurant suffered smoke damage.

During the time the restaurant was shut down “They (the owners) wanted to take this opportunity to bring back Broadway back better than ever,” Dühring said.

Countdown to Mr. Gatti’s Pizza Grand Opening on Monday, September 26th

The clock is counting down for the Grand Opening of Mr. Gatti’s Pizza located on 404 West Main Street at the former site of Super S Grocery store across from El Progreso Memorial Library.

According to Mr. Gatti’s Uvalde website page, the restaurant will open its doors on Monday, September 26th at 11 am.

Mr. Gatti’s Restaurants feature pizza, games and parties.

According to the official website, “Mr. Gatti’s has been satisfying pizza cravings for over 50 years. Our founder, James Eure, opened The Pizza Place in 1964 in Stephenville, Texas. In 1969, he moved to Austin and opened ‘Mr. Gatti’s ‘as a tribute to his wife’s maiden name. Over the last 50 years, Mr. Gattis has continued to grow and expand to over 70 locations and is delighting guests with great pizza across the greater part of the southwestern United States. “

The Mr. Gatti’s restaurant in Uvalde will be open 7 days a week 11 AM to 9 PM
