Approximately 54 lady golfers are competing at this weekend’s Northside ISD High School Girls Golf Tournament held annually at the Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course in Concan. Parents and coaches have accompanied the various girl’s teams.

The two-day tournament began Friday, November 8th with golfers playing in cooler temperatures and through intermittent rainfall throughout the day.

Established in 1949 by the consolidation of 12 rural school districts, Northside today is 355 square miles of urban landscape, suburban communities, and rural Texas hill country. As South Texas’ largest school system, Northside is the “Destination District” for thousands of families wanting a high-quality school system.

The tournament concludes this afternoon, Saturday, November 9th at 3 PM.
