Uvalde County Commissioners will be meeting on Tuesday, May 28th at 10 AM to consider and act on a number of agenda items including if a burn ban should be ordered again.
Commissioners will also discuss and make a decision on Independence Day 4th of July fireworks sales within the County. In previous decisions, the Court has limited the sale of fireworks to just ground based fireworks banning rocket type fireworks.
Decisions on these two items will likely be made with the area’s lack of rainfall over the last few weeks. The last significant rainfall the area experienced was on the morning of Monday, May 13th, 2024 coinciding when Commissioners Court was last held.
