On Friday, July 10th and Saturday July 11th, weekend after the 4th of July, the Frio River and Concan area was in full swing. Crowds of people are seen on the Frio River and at the weekend concerts at Joe Jimmy’s and House Pasture and taking swings at the Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course.
In a few weeks, football practice, band practices and other school extracurricular activities will be starting and while the actual summer season will continue, the time on the Frio River for many will be limited to the weekends.
