According to Uvalde County Sheriff Ruben Nolasco a missing 14-year-old boy was located not far from where he was last seen. Hayden Vossler was staying at Neal’s Lodges in Concan with family when he disappeared after an argument with a cousin between 12:30 PM and 1 PM.
Vossler’s disappearance prompted a search conducted by the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office and other state agencies. Vossler was found just before 10 PM on Tuesday, July 2nd.
“No, not too far from where he was staying. DPS helicopter equipped with FLIR located him. Standard procedure interview and due to weather conditions to make sure he didn’t need any medical attention,” Nolasco said.
Nolasco posted the following on his Uvalde County Sheriff’s Facebook Page:
“Thank you for the outpouring support shown by each and everyone of y’all that shared my post. The juvenile has been located and is being evaluated by Concan EMS.
I would like to thank Neal’s and their staff for allowing us to stage on their property and all our local, State and Federal partners for their assistance. A big thank you to Neal’s Cafe (Chase Roosa) for the post incident meal.”
