Brett and Nicki Cross begin third day protest outside of Uvalde Police Department Station seeking officers be repremanded/fired.

One word that might best describe Brett and Nikki Cross is determined. Determined to see tangible justice and accountability.

Following Brett Cross’s emotional public comments presented at Tuesday March 12th,  Uvalde City Council Meeting where he called for Mayor Cody Smith and the Uvalde City Council to make a decision on the City’s paid investigation into officers actions at Robb School on May 24th, 2022.  When asked what his goal is for setting up a canopy tent on the front lawn of the Uvalde Police Department, he said he wants the three of the City’s police officers to be repremanded and/or fired.

In his report presented by Investigator Jessie Prado’s to the Uvalde City Council at a Special Meeting  held  on Thursday, March 7th 2024,  Pardo conclusion was the three city police officers including Javier Martinez, Luis Landry and Edwardo Canales be exonorated  for their actions at Rob School on May 24th, 2022. Additionally the report also exonorated Mariano Pargas who was the acting Chief of Police at Robb School that same day.
