Leticia Ybarra Trevino, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and warmth. Born on May 1, 1957, in Merced, California, to Faustino Ybarra and Elida Verduzco, Leticia grew up with a passion for life that she carried through every chapter of her journey.
Leticia was a dedicated and talented chef who retired after a fulfilling career in the culinary arts. She was not only admired for her skills in the kitchen but also for the joy she found in nurturing life through her beautiful garden. Leticia had a vibrant spirit and enjoyed spending her time baking, watching movies of all genres, and sharing special moments with her family.
She was a devoted mother to Melissa Trevino, Richard Trevino, Frank Trevino, Brisamar Esparza, Martin Quiroz, and Patricia Luna. Her love and wisdom also touched the lives of her many grandchildren: Pilar Falcon, Eusebio Ezequiel Vielma, Mary Louise Trevino, Julissa Eve Milagro Esparza, David Enrique Esparza, Amarissa Faith Esparza, Arabella Nevaeh Esparza, Isabella Marie Esparza, Xavier Alexzander Quiroz, Anthony Rae Quiroz, Galileyha Quiroz, Marcus Dre Quiroz, Julian Ray Solis Jr., Julio Luis Solis, Annalyssa Jade Solis, Kristalia Nicaela Falcon, Mario Manuel Falcon, Rosalia Consuelo Falcon, Adalia Mariana Falcon, and Demario Exavian Pedroza-Falcon.
Leticia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Faustino Ybarra and Elida Verduzco. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Cremation is under the direction on Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
Leticia’s life was a testament to being a strong spiritual, resilience, and the simple joys that make life meaningful. May she rest in peace.
