Uvalde CISD Trustee Jaclyn Gonzales spoke with the Uvalde Hesperian following Monday night’s May 19th meeting that was adjourned by Trustee Laura Perez during a special budget meeting following a point of order motion brought up by Gonzales. According to Gonzales and the Federal Lawsuit decree she brought up, four elected school board members JJ Suarez, Robert Quinones, Laura Perez and Javier Florez three-year terms had expired. As a result of the expired terms, the school board did not have an official quorum necessary to conduct school business.
