“The survivors and families of these school shootings are the bravest people I know. They get up every morning on a mission to stop gun violence all across this state and country, to prevent any other parent from having to go through this nightmare. All they are asking for is common sense gun reform in our communities,” said State Senator Roland Gutierrez.
“The world watched in horror as a teenager slaughtered 19 children and two teachers with an AR-15 while cops stood by for 77 minutes. They weren’t scared of the kid, they were scared of that gun. We need to address this problem in a way that keeps our schools safe and respects our second amendment.” |
