SWTX announces fall 2024 president’s and dean’s lists

  Southwest Texas College (SWTX) President Dr. Hector Gonzales and April Ruhmann, Dean of Applied Sciences and Liberal Arts, proudly recognize 555 outstanding students for their exceptional academic achievements during the 2024 fall semester.

  Full-time students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours are eligible for these prestigious academic honors. The distinguished president’s list acknowledges those full-time students who maintained a remarkable 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) throughout the semester. Equally noteworthy, the esteemed dean’s list commends students who achieved a commendable 3.6 GPA or higher during the same period.

  This semester, SWTX is delighted to announce that 296 students have earned a place of distinction on the president’s list. These students’ unwavering dedication and commitment to academic excellence have been commendable. Additionally, the dean’s list acknowledges the remarkable accomplishments of 259 students who consistently demonstrated exceptional academic performance throughout the semester.

  Dr. Gonzales congratulated the students on both lists, stating, “We are immensely proud of these outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to their academic pursuits.
