Uvalde CISD will be holding a public hearing tonight at 5:30 PM followed by a 6:00 PM board workshop meeting at the Benson Board Room located at 601 Dean Street.

At the 5:30PM public hearing the board will hold a Public Hearing on Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for Uvalde CISD.
A. Overview of School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report.
B. Public comments on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report.
At the 6PM Board Workshop the following will be discussed:
Board Workshop: Led by Dr. Monica Munoz Martinez, Dr. Gloria Gonzalez-Lopez, Dr. Noel Bridget Busch-Armendariz, Caitlin Sulley, and the research team from The University of Texas that has been studying the impact of the tragedy at Robb Elementary since shortly after. The group will share insights from their findings that are relevant to UCISD. They will also offer research-based guidance on initial considerations for how to approach deciding on a permanent memorial(s) at the comer in front of Robb Elementary.
