Coyotes daring play during the fourth quarter added another touchdown for the home team

  At halftime, the score was Uvalde Coyotes 7; Fredericksburg Billies 7. Throughout much of the third quarter, possession of the ball seemed to go back and forth between the Coyotes and the Billies. 

 However, the Fredericksburg team broke free and ran the ball back for a touchdown. Near the end of the third quarter the Coyotes fumbled the ball near their end zone and the Billies were able to recover the ball for a Safety. During the third quarter the Billies scored a total of two touchdowns and a safety creating a large score deficit for the Coyotes to make up to have a chance at winning the game. 

 In the early part of the 4th quarter the Coyotes ran a gutsy play resulting in the Coyotes scoring a touchdown but failed to make the extra point.  

 The fourth quarter clock was against the Coyotes, and they were unable to put any more points on the board.

Coyote Quarterback Jett Flores was at the game but stayed on the sidelines.
With about 6 minutes left in the 4th Quarter, frustration seemed to set in for several of the players.
