Palomino Fest kicked off its opening night tonight with free admission and rides for only $1.00.
Long lines were observed at the various rides including the Farris Wheel near the entrance to the event as well as other rides for children and more rides for thrill seekers situated near the back of the midway.
Most if not all of the carnival food favorites were being sold at various kiosks. Various carnival games were also seen on the midway enticing Palomino Fest goers to topple milk bottles, pop-a-balloon or shoot out a red star on a piece of paper for a stuffed animal or other prize.
The concert stage was empty tonight but several musical groups are scheduled to perform over the next few days.
Palomino Fest will continue through Sunday, September 1st, 2024
