We are pleased to announce that Uvalde CISD schools will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the upcoming School Year 2024–2025. Schools qualifying to operate under CEP will serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge, eliminating the need for meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.
The implementation of this program aims to reduce burdens on both families and school administrators, ensuring that more students have access to nutritious meals without the added stress of meal applications. By providing meals at no cost to all students, we hope to foster a healthier and more focused learning environment for our children.
