At the Uvalde CISD’s February School board meeting, Superintendent Ashley Chohlis announced during her superintendent’s report that personal appliancesowned by teachers and faculty will be removed from classrooms and offices by Spring Break as the district plans on providing appliances such as coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators at designated ‘hubs’ at each of the campuses.

The Uvalde Hesperian invited teachers to send in pictures of personal appliances they use on campus.
