Knippa students assembled outside of the school buildings Friday morning November 10th at approximately 10 AM to view a special parade with veterans riding in military jeeps.

About a dozen vehicles were lined up in front of the school on East Kessler Street including a Knippa Volunteer Fire Department truck and a Texas Parks and Wildlife truck along with a few other vehicles. The parade circled the school as the fire truck siren could be heard at the start of the procession. Elementary students standing with their teacher outside the fence line could be seen waving small American Flags.

The Marine’s Hymn was played from one of the parade vehicles during the procession.
