Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin’s tickets were drawn three times Friday Night, November 3rd, 2023 during the 40 Gun Monster Raffle at the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce’s 42nd Annual Hunters Roundup held at the Uvalde County Fairplex.
McLaughlin won the following guns: Barkeep Heritage 22 Pistol sponsored by Beltone Hearing Aids, a Savage 93 Mark II 22 Rifle sponsored by Texas Farm Credit and a Banalla 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle sponsored by Holt Helicopters.
This year’s Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce Hunter’s Roundup was expanded to a two day event with an added Hunters Roundup BBQ Cook-Off held on Friday November 3rd and Saturday November 4th at the Uvalde County Fairplex with a $15,000 guaranteed payout.
A Hunters Roundup Afterparty was held at the Longhorn Sports Bar and Saloon on Friday November 3rd, 2023.
