Knippa Volunteer Fire Department hosts National Night Out event

  Several dozen residents and representatives from local organizations participated in Knippa’s National Night Out event held Tuesday evening, October 3rd on the corner of Main Street FM 1049 and Avenue G by the  Knippa Volunteer Fire Department Station. Organizations participating included the Knippa Volunteer Fire Department, the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office, the Tomas Valle American Legion, Chiquita Bonita Bakery and Freddy Mares for Uvalde County Sheriff.

 Cities and neighborhoods across the country celebrate this annual tradition in an opportunity for neighbors and local law enforcement and first responders to come together.
