SWTJC HVAC Instructor and Business Owner Lee Flores has been recognized by Malco as an “HVAC Trade-Pro of the Year”

 Malco Products, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of high-quality tools for the HVAC trade, today announced the winners of its annual HVAC Trade-Pro of the Year Award program, including Lee Fores of Uvalde, Texas. 

  Flores has been recognized by Malco as an “HVAC Trade-Pro of the Year” for his achievements, on-the-job safety, excellent reputation and commitment to making a difference in his community.

  Flores owns Air-Tek Heating & Cooling and has been an instructor at Southwest Texas Junior College(SWTJC) in Uvalde, Texas, for the past 16 years. He enjoys teaching his students “how to do it the right and the wrong way, so they learn from their mistakes as we supervise them.” Fores supports local sporting groups like peewee baseball, football and soccer by repairing their equipment for free. He also repairs AC window units for elders in his community at no cost.
