  Thursday, August 31st was the opening night of Palomino Fest and about 9 PM there was still a crowd of people standing in line to ride many of the rides. At this year’s Palomino Fest there are plenty of rides, games, food and more.  Thursday featured free admission and $1 rides and all you can ride wristbands for $30 each. 

   Starting, Friday, September 1st through Sunday, September 3rd, each day will feature a full schedule of live music, events and other entertainment. 

   The First State Bank Labor Day Weekend Grand Parade will take place on Saturday, September 2nd starting at 10 AM on Getty Street in the Uvalde Downtown Area.

 The Uvalde Hesperian visited the opening night of Palomino Fest and took several pictures at the event.
