“Failure to Yield” cited as the cause of a three vehicle accident in Concan Sunday, July 30th, 2023

According to information from a Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post on their Concan Community Page and a report by Texas DPS, An accident occurred Sunday, July 30th at the intersection of F.M. 127 and U.S. Highway 83 involved three vehicles and a trailer. Three to four people were transported to Uvalde Memorial Hospital by EMS. In the Texas DPS report, it states four people were transported by EMS to Uvalde Memorial Hospital. The Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office stated on its Facebook post that one individual was transported via AirLife and 2 individuals were transported by EMS,
According to details of the accident received from Texas DPS, the report said, “A 2022 Toyota white Rav 4 SUV driven by a 33 year old man from Laredo was traveling WB on SH 127 and approached a stop intersection, stopped, and then proceeded to go failing to yield ROW. A DPS black and white Chevrolet Tahoe 2020 unit traveling northbound on US 83 then collided with Toyota SUV resulting in the SUV to rotate counterclockwise and slide into a 3rd vehicle, a 2019 black Ford F-250 towing a utility trailer in the southbound turning lane of US 83, and coming to rest facing southbound.
The DPS unit then rotated counterclockwise and came to rest in the northbound lane of US 83 facing southbound. “
