Large smoke plume see on the city’s horizon

A large plume of smoke was visible over the horizon in Uvalde Monday, July 31st with a number of people posting pictures and videos of it on social media.

According to a Facebook post by the Uvalde Voluteer Fire Department, controlled agricultual burns will be happing throughout the week.
