“On Behalf of Marlee Torres and family: We have tragically lost the life of our Beloved D’Edren Tenorio. He was a kind-hearted soul, full of life. D’Edren started school at Batesville Elementary until his completion of 6th grade and then continued on to Morales for his junior high years. This year he was a freshman at Uvalde High School Early College and was enrolled with SWTJC.

He was a very bright student and had done so well in school. His passion for writing never ceased to amaze those who read his work. The art skills he had went side by side with his writing.

Those who have had the privilege to know him can share with you many great memories. He will always be remembered for his heart of gold and the resonating smile that would make everyone’s day 100x better.

We ask that anyone willing to help out his family with funeral expenses, to please share this link. If you know his mom Marlee, you know she is a great person who would help others out in the same way. At this time, she is in need of our community’s support. This is going to be a long road ahead of her, so if you could take the time to help share the link or help donate, we would greatly appreciate it! She requested that if your child was friends with D’Edren and had photos of or with him, or had a story to tell, to please share them with her to her Facebook. THANK YOU!
