Uvalde County Commissioner Mariano Pargas was absent from this week’s Monday, May 22nd Commissioners Court meeting as Javier Cazares and Berlinda Arreola speak before the Council calling for Pargas to Step down.
Later at 11 AM on Monday, The City of Uvalde held a Press Conference at the Ssgt. Willie de Leon Civic Center to discuss the 1st Anniversary week of the Robb School Massacre. Absent from the panel was D.A Christina Mitchell who six months ago, said she needed another 6 months before she could release any information she has pertaining to the tragedy. Her office located on North Nopal Street has signs posted with the words, “No Media.”
