El Progreso Memorial Library events feature Love Songs, Stories, Money and Magic

February 14th Music on Main with Toni Hull and Friends

Love is in the air at El Progreso Memorial Library! Toni K. Hull will play piano accompaniment for Sara Hensarling Tafolla, Valeri Redus, Linda and Carlos Koehl, The Memories, Karl Gager, Rene Ford, Darrell Zimmerman, Jim Gerrish, Camille Sanders the Uvalde Beach Boys and the Dolce String Quartet on such selections as “I Wish You Love”, “La Paloma”, “Elvira”, “Someone to Watch Over Me”, “It Had to be You”. The concert starting at 7 p.m. is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome (suggested $25).

February 15th Story Hour at 10:30 a.m. with special guest reader Janice who will also be performing magic tricks for the preschoolers! “Miss Jellybean’s character comes alive as she entertains children through her silly storytelling and magic tricks.

It’s a school holiday – February 16th Mark Fuller storyteller, face painter and balloon artist at 10:30 a.m. “Be amazed at Mr. Mark’s magic. Non-stop laughs from beginning to end.” We’ll have balloons and face painting following the shows as long as supplies last.
