Uvalde Memorial Hospital is excited to announce our new employee recognition awards program! We are partnering with the Daisy Foundation, to express gratitude to our nurses for their clinical excellence and outstanding compassionate care and, to take our gratitude one step further by extending the recognition to other non-nursing UMH employees.
Each quarter, UMH will honor three of its outstanding team members, in three specific categories, for their exceptional and extraordinary service. We would love to hear from our patients, visitors, staff, volunteers, and medical team about who you think deserves to be honored.
The award categories and nomination forms for each are:

*The PETAL Award – For Exceptional Non-Nursing UMH Clinical Staff (eg. lab tech, pharmacy tech, radiology tech, etc.)
*The BEE Award – For Extraordinary Non-Clinical UMH Team Member (eg. Dietary Team Member, EVS Team Member, Business Office Team Member, Hospitality Team Member, Medical Records Team, Human Resources, etc.)
