Commissioner’s Court Meeting time change to 6 PM would make it easier for working people to attended the meeting according to Jesse Rizo
Rhonda Vigil and Jesse Rizo spoke to commissioners court on the agenda item to change the time of the Commissioners Court meeting.
Both Vigil and Rizo spoke to request the Commissioners Court Meetings be moved to 6 PM so more working people can attend the meetings.
Commissioners Ronnie Garza and John Yeackle made a motion and second to make the time change for the meetings.
Commissioners Jerry Bates and Mariano Pargas voted against the change of time.
The item was narrowly voted down 2 commissioners voting for the change, 2 voted against with Judge Mitchell casting a No vote defeating the motion followed by the stroke of the Judge’s gavel.
The date and time of Commissioners Court meetings will remain on Mondays at 10 AM
