Houston Astro’s Caravan makes appearance at the Civic Center and HEB earlier today from 10 am to 2 PM
The Houston Astros Caravan stopped in Uvalde today from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Ssgt. Willie de Leon Civic Center and at H-E-B bringing the professional baseball spirit with them as well as Astros giveaways.
At HEB, two Houston Astros Cheerleaders were on hand with a wheel that people could spin to win Astro giveaways.
According to a Houston Astros Press Release, the Caravan is part of an series of stops throughout Houston area, Austin, Corpus Christi and Uvalde; FanFest set for Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023
“The Astros Caravan gives fans the opportunity to connect with current and former players, broadcasters and front office personnel at various locations throughout the week as the club approaches the start of Spring Training. Popular Astros mascot Orbit, along with the Coca-Cola Shooting Stars and Shuttle Crew will also take part in the caravan.”
The fan outreach tour will stop will include community centers, schools, hospitals, non-profit organizations, Chick-fil-A restaurants, H-E-B stores and other locations.”
