Uvalde’s City Manager Vince DiPiazza said the City communicated with the family members on the removal of the flowers. stuffed animals and victim memorials.
Several in attendance said that is not true.
If was brought up by a family member in attendance at Tuesday night’s Uvalde City Council Meeting the city just told the family members the items had to be removed from the plaza. Councilman Chip King said, “If it happened that way, I am sorry.” He went onto say the city will work with the family and the community to correct the situation.
