  Just weeks following Uvalde’s darkest day, Mayra Vasquez is sworn in as the Club’s President for the year 2022-2023  as one of Uvalde’s oldest service clubs reaches its 100 year anniversary. 

  Following the horrific May 24th tragedy. the club has accepted it’s new challenge of serving Uvalde and it’ citizens during a time of brokenness, loss and sorrow.

  The Rotary Club of Uvalde is affiliated with Rotary International, a non-profit service organization made up of business professionals and community members who work to meet together locally and nationally to help the needs of others. The motto of the organization is Service above Self.  Rotary Clubs raise money for scholarships and local and international projects to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene, saving mothers and children,  supporting education and growing local economies.
