Chalking up the messages of hope

At the Robb Elementary Memorial at the Plaza located on the Downtown square, Saturday night mourners surrounded the wooden crosses of each of the 19 students and 2 teachers who perished in

Tuesday's school massacre.  As the days pass, more visitors arrived from other towns and cities located in Texas and across the United States.  Since the Memorial's beginning, a new feature has emerges: sidewalk chalk art.

Pieces of multi-colored chalk are scattered along the paths there for anyone to leave a message of create a drawing.

The art, the drawings and the messages  can be seen on the concrete paths leading around the sidewalks and paths leading to the Memorial.

Comforting scriptures can be found as well as "Uvalde Strong" and many other expressions of love can be found.
