- Uvalde CISD approves extra pay for Summer School Teachers and staff.
- Uvalde Utility Assistance Program gets new life. Presentation was given at Tuesday’s Uvalde City Council meeting by the Uvalde Helping Hand Fund Program developed to assist customers who show hardship for paying their utility bills. The Program also has an assistance for senior citizens over the age of 65 as well as for veterans.
- Demolition begins on Uvalde Memorial Hospital’s old facilities. Asbestos abatement is underway on old buildings.
